As I have begun my second round of chemo (last Friday), I have been overwhelmed with your support and prayers. I feel completely covered in prayers. And once again, you have been wonderful in putting up with problems caused by my illness.
I also want to thank all of you who remembered my birthday (47th) with notes, cards, and messages. You helped make it a very special day.
Thank you for pulling together the service last week when I was ill. A special thanks to Pastor Larry, Bill Rishel, and Chris Ross in making a very special service.
The list goes on and on but I also want to mention a special thanks to Rae Jean whose job is much more difficult covering for me with my bouts of sickness and doctors’ appointments.
Lastly, thanks to all of you for your patience, caring, and kindness as I begin yet another round of chemo. There is no place I would rather be and no congregation that could be more supportive.
This cancer may seem to have the upper hand, but we are going to win this war.
